The conference call had a couple of new features, though they were subject to the usual disclaimers...I wish I could quote them, but Ms. Alker (or was it Mr. Cole?) intimated that the Board might be considering a buyback in the future, because the two of them had discussed it recently.

Secondly, Ms. Alker also made it clear (again, I wish I could provide quotes) that the management was cognizant of its responsibilities to shareholders in what was "the golden age of networking mergers" (I hope I got that quote right, but its close enough to stand quoted even if I was off by a word or so.).

I certainly hope so. Haven't the owners already suffered enough?
