I respectfully disagree with you. In my opinion and I may be wrong, SI does not want to lose dues paying subscribers because some threads wander into so-called "off topic" areas from time to time. More folks would leave if they got heavy handed with the censorship and suspensions, since most folks like the excitement of subject areas like these, where often the action reminds me of the WWF, rather than strict on topic sumo wrestling, if you know what I mean. <G>
One of the most popular subject areas on Prodigy in the early to mid-1990's on the Investment Theory boards was my topic: "Yogi", where everything and anything went down, and that is just one reason besides me <VBG> why it was so popular.
O.K. you censor wannabees out there, just to keep my post strictly "on topic", I must say that I just loved the "sideshot" of "Bond Babe" Kathleeen Hayes this morning! And, I just love the way she brushes aside her hair when it falls into her eyes... Yogi
