I'll respond to the earnings question... In my opinion NO. CNBC does not report the earnings they read the earnings out loud and they only cover the stocks sanctioned by NBC and powers that be. No BB stocks, no Canadian, no NASDAQ small caps. Also if you watch CNBC when the show starts at 6:00 Central Time and then watch it an hour later, they just repeat the same earnings of the same companies. Why not use the extra time to include new companies rather than repeat the news for those who were asleep the first hour. I can get the news faster, more detail and with less jocularity right off my P.C. through Yahoo.

Also, it is irritating at all the screwups when they announce earnings because they either read the wrong number, got the wrong symbol, put up the wrong chart..... it does not happen all the time, but it does happen.

I like Maria's report and Kathleen when she slows down. I like most of the guests (especially those that are bearrish). David Faber is good, Joe is fair. I must say that I get more out of the post market reports than I do in the morning....
