I am also looking for the day that all MRV's divisions and its interests in start-ups do get proper valuation. For the short term, I like to believe that MRV's business must have improved over the last quarter. (Any expenses due to purchasing additional interests in start-ups should be separated out from ordinary business numbers.)

To qualify for the Los Angeles Technology Fast 50, companies must be in business for a minimum of 5 years; must not be a subsidiary or division; must have 1994 revenues of at least $50,000 and 1998 revenues of $1,000,000 or more; must be considered a technology company which is defined as producing technology, manufacturing a technology related product; being technologically intensive or using unique technology in problem-solving, or devoting a high percentage of effort to research and development of technology; and must be headquartered in Los Angeles, Riverside, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino, or Ventura counties.
