hi dan,

believe fujitsu/wstl is a done deal as the article states... at least for the initial stages of the bt rollout.. big ramp is rumored to be at the end of 2000... might be some opportunity for orct between here and there..

wish it weren't so.. this one sure would have been nice, but they can't win 'em all.. apparently wstl's relationship as an established vender was significant..

that was one heck of a typo the first time thru ("using equipment to be supplied by Alcatel and Fujitsu/Orckit") ... wonder what was up with that?

would think at least the keywave will be involved as this is 1/2 owned by fujitsu.. and have a hard time imagining them giving those margins to someone else.. but you never know..

---

btw.. listened carefully to the cc and the only reference to how the offerings proceeds were to be used was:

"first, net cash including $7.2 million of over-allotment proceeds ... the net cash increased to approximately $85 million... we believe that this will enable us to meet requirements as adsl rollout advances to the next stage... "

thanks for posting
