To all: Thought I'd use my 15 free AOL hours wisely...

Found quoted AMTX/SI threads there, so thought I'd bring one of their useful threads here...

" Okay, now to the real reason for posting: my phone call to the company this afternoon.
Highlights:
*Board meeting next week will determine which form financing/secondary will take. Board Member Don Lucas, the VC who started National Semiconductor, funded Oracle (and sits on board) and financed Cadence Systems, will steer the financing discussion. James Gibbons, Chairman of the Board, Chairman of the School of Engineering at Stanford, member of boards of Lockheed Martin and Cisco, will preside. At the meeting the company will "pick its poison"---private financing or standard "road show" secondary.
*SuperComm '96--Dr. Cioffi will be speaking and Amati will be participating in Motorola's booth as well as do a few pitches and be a visible presence. Last year CAP dominated. This year will be different.
*Moving to new headquarters this summer. Very excited about this. [Sorry, Janet!!! Couldn't resist...Mine.]
*Any news of trials at SuperComm will come from telcos, not Amati.
All in all, the company feels positive about its direction and there was certainly no note of concern regarding today's market action."

Regards,
JPD
