Hello, Alok, Sun tends to be cautious but I read in Eric's post that Mr. Zander was optimistic. [Microsft issues warnings every qtr - so it lacks credibility.] Alok, maybe MSFT will be right this time? After all, how many companies or individuals want to keep spending hundreds of dollars to upgrade to a newer version of Windows or NT in the future? As far as LINUX goes, I believe home PC user will find it very friendly & very cheap. In the meantime, we have to wait until we can connect our PC with LINUX to American On-line or other companies that put us onto the net. However, Cheryl made an important point about the PC. Eventually, it may be replaced with an appliance that runs JAVA. Many possibilities....... Best wishes, Mephisto
