You properly complain when people misread your posts and so respond to questions you haven't raised.

Edwards said "It is impossible for me to believe that anyone can view events in any other way than subjectively." (emphasis added) I think it is only fair to understand that her use of the word view was not simply see, as one might view a corner kick in soccer, but view in the sense of making some judgment about, as in "my view of the situation is . . ." Perhaps it is a distinction between observing and viewing.

Your examples are not of people viewing events, but reporting facts. Mr. Z committed suicide is not viewing what happened, but reporting the fact.

I happen to agree with Edwarda, and I suspect that presented this way you would also.
