Tom, 2 hours to download brings up a couple of issues in my mind, aside from the fact that the movie does not end up on your TV as we have observed.

My own use of videos is almost always a spontaneous decision. 2 hours would be unacceptable. Second is the issue of @HOME permitting that kind of continuous use of their party line, which it seems they either do not permit or can't permit now. Doesn't the speed suffer if too many people are trying to download on the @HOME party line at once?

When I think about it, we have all these issues about delivering a feature length film to a computer, where no one would watch it, without even discussing getting it to a TV for millions of Americans.
I believe you told me privately last year you thought is was maybe 7 years away (now 6). I thinks James feels similarly.

If good tech people feel this way, this "threat" should not occupy much of our time. We should be thinking about current VOD competition, speed of rollout, whether or when we get coverage, are the big holders selling -- things like that.

Your comments on are appreciated.
