Re: Flaming Steve Harmon's Softbank Coverage...

Hey Jonas. I truly appreciate all your great,
extremely informative posts @ Silicon Investor & Raging Bull.
But I had to say ... don't you think you are overreacting
here just a bit?

Regardless of whether or not he has covered the stock,
I do think Steve is a genius of a Net stock picker.
But that's my opinion. ISDEX returns of 187% last
year are pretty impressive.

Yes, I do notice that the Steve Harmon thread is the one
non-Softbank forum that has become dominated about talk
of this stock. He said that he may cover that in the future
but he has no obligation to mention it at all.

Perhaps he is spending a lot of time researching the stock.
I know that may sound silly, but really, I've said many times
that analyzing the value of Softbank is like feeling for an
elephant in a dark room. You know you're on to something
truly big here, but the details are murky. I know in my
analysis of similar stocks (Venture capital holding companies
with heavy Net exposure) - CMGI, Winfield Capital (WCAP), Big
Flower Holdings (BGF), etc, that these are somewhat difficult
to analyze. Softbank is even harder - until they
are listed on the American exchange (maybe a year or so),
they do not even have GAAP-compliant financial statements for
comparison. Not to mention the many private companies they
have stakes in.

That's just my quick thoughts. Anyway, for the latest breaking
news, check out Smartmoney.com's second article on Softbank, awesome
stuff: "Is That Softbank in Your Pocket?"

Steve: Is your brain working properly?

People have been talking about Softbank on your board for the past 2 months.

Meanwhile Softbank stock has doubled. You never mention it, or only mention it in
passing, despite repeated requests from many people on this board.

Now in your newsletter, you state that "amazon may be the biggest threat to Softbank",
due to the fact that Softbank invested in Webvan, which wants to warehouse vegetables?

Do you really know what Softbank is? Have you researched it at all?
Or is that that you just don't do Japan?

Don't know, man, but if you're an internet expert, I'm a brain surgeon.
