Then, you are wrong. Do you know what was the root cause for Japan to have an eroded banking and lending system. The manifest cause for the crashing of their banking system was the burst of the bubble of their economy a few years ago. The diminishing of stock values in their stock market caused a lot of Japanese companies to go into bankrupt. They were no longer able to have enough money to cover their loans since they used the stock as a large part of the securities for their mortgage. But, what caused the bubble to burst. It was mainly due to the failure of their monetary reserve system that caused the inflation and the bubble to burst. As for Russian and Brazil, please show me the evidence that they have a sound and working monetary system. The monetary system is the fundamental for all the economical activities. If you really want to argue, please read the text book first. Lucinos
