Thanks for your response and for sharing your thoughts.

Regarding subsequent posts on the markets in general, I can understand your points regarding over-valuation, and a large correction is always a concern. However, don't you think there are some fundamental differences between now and 1987, including internet access and the influx of individual investors.

Time and again we have seen these drops, but investors have used them as buying opportunities; no market crashes have occurred. I guess the major correction is inevitable but I, for one, do not believe that is is going to happen now. (I dread the day it does, because it seems like so many folks have fully committed themselves to the market, not recognizing that their life savings and retirement funds are at risk.)
