burgoo, the whole point of Intel-suppored Rambus technologies is to prevent PC prices from dropping to zero by creating a new genearation of faster PCs capable of standing up and saying hello, and creating a new buying demand! Is this not so? Faster chips, new applications requiring faster chips, this is the plan. otherwise you can give it all away, free windows, free pcs, lease a thinclient dumb box, why want more? but if there is more... if you build it, they will come.
