Now holders of AMZN hold on until the value investors decide the shares are rationally priced to reflect the issues facing AMZN:
1) Do they ever plan on turning a profit, and if so, how?
2) How do they really differentiate themselves from the competition?
3) Do they have any game plan for developing the Amazon name into one that is a genuine brand, like Nike or Coca-Cola? I know that's an immense proposition, but it must be tackled: K-Mart has stores and warehouses all across the land, and yet, shopping at K-Mart is as dry and unhip as gassing up your car at the corner chain-store filling station.

In the end, Amazon has to be more than retailer peddling commodity products with razor thin margins. The "convenience" plug doesn't go very far towards building a brand that people want to buy.

I'd be "shocked and grateful", if Bezos would have a good think on this particular issue. The stock price has been phenomenal, even legendary. But that doesn't make a brand with staying power. So what will it be? Why will I be drawn to buy products at Amazon??? Until Bezos decides on some answers, I have to wonder why I should want to buy the stock.
