we are each talking until we are blue in the face about the need to prepare to their loved ones. they are also planning on pulling out another blanket, adding more water to the woodfired stove soup kettle, and peeling one more skinny potato, in their efforts to provide shelter, food and clothing.
this whole y2k thing is okay if one is a mormon, or already a farmer, i guess. or if one already has their house paid for, their front doors wedged, and lives on the third floor of a walk-up so that they don't have to worry about anyone crawling through their windows.

Go back home, if bonding in FEMA shelters doesn't work, and let mom and dad raise you again, winding you up, kissing the booboos. where in the world is the model that the children should be taking care of the parents in their senior years, let alone during y2k emergency.
