Hi Rob,

Welcome to the Board! I fully agree with you. The Virtual Test Division has good potential, and was one of the reasons I became interested in the stock initially. The recent alliance with HP's test group can only enhance this prospect.

However, the bread-and-butter products have always been IC verification systems, especially the Digital test systems. One of the reasons the stock suffered in the last few years, along with Semi industry slow down, was Intel's purchase from IMSC, which went from 36% of rev in '96, to 27% in '97, to 25% in '98! The recent introduction of Vanguard Test system (500 MHz speed) appeared to be a well-accepted answer to this problem, and accounted for the bulk of recent sale increase. The acquisition of the German (Dresden) memory test company also worked out well, with newly introduced product (ORION) and sales to DRAM makers.

This is a nice beginning, and I look for the above products to contribute nicely to revenue growth in the next few quarters. Consequently I expect IMSC to handily exceed current revenue and earning estimates for this and next fiscal year, and hopefully will attract more buyers for the stock. It is still trading on very thin volume now.
