You and others think movies is all that video is about. The vast majority of video is TV series and documentaries, and many people want to own copies of these. I'd love a digital collection of Star Trek or Time Tunnel series, fully indexed of course.

I too have very few movies that I care to see or see again ... making even VOD a questionable proposition in our household. After a week we likely would have watched our fill. Even if VOD was completely free, I doubt it would make us watch more after we had our "fill."

How many times have you found nothing worth renting at Blockbuster ??? We many times have just given up on the idea and went home to play a board game, which usually is a nicer evening all around for the family anyways.

We all can relate to what your saying. Even purchased videos only get played a few times and then become just one of the videos in a person's collection, like LPs and CDs.

Hope the market moves forward today ...
