Hello all. I've been lurking at Galt on&off, and I'm driven to confess that I don't really know what is going on. (If I ask this there, it might be akin to a hypothyroid mouse asking an alley cat for a game of tag.) I'm hoping someone will take pity on me and tell me what the ground rules of that thread are. I see a variety of beliefs&opinions doing a creditable impression of a pro roller skating team, y'know, no holds barred. Might be fun for me to join, as I've been known to have an opinion or two about "life, the universe and everything", but I don't want to stumble in unprepared (or unwelcome, considering the Nomex requirement for newbies). Who is John Galt, and what is the basic object of the discussion? Is the acrimony real or part of the game? Any friendly pointers accepted. TTFN Alex
