ZiaSun/Asia4Sale Joins with First Ecom and Bank of Bermuda

HONG KONG, July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- E-commerce portal ''Asia4Sale'' ( www.asia4sale.com ), announced today that it has reached agreement with First Ecom ( www.firstecom.com ) to handle its multi-currency credit card web processing. Asia4Sale.com Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ZiaSun Technologies Inc (OTC Bulletin Board: ZSUN - news; www.ziasun.com ), will be the first approved shopping mall to use the First Ecom e-payment gateway.

First Ecom, operating under license from the Bank of Bermuda, is able to process MasterCard and Visa Card payments for the purchase of goods and services in a variety of major currencies.

The Bank of Bermuda has been in the e-commerce transaction processing business since 1995 and it is considered to be a premier offshore institution specializing in e-commerce.

Mr. Brian Hodgson, Managing Director of Asia4Sale, said, ''The credit card processing will be primarily for our on-line shopping service, which is in the final stages of testing. More than 1,300 products are being loaded. Teams of programmers and web developers in Hong Kong and Manila are working hard to finish this as quickly as possible. And new servers have just been added in California.

''A major marketing drive is being planned in Asia and worldwide for the launch.''

To date, the e-commerce facility has reached agreement with more than 50 business partners to supply Asia-made products for the new on-line shopping venture.

''The response from Asia's business community has been very gratifying,'' said Mr. Hodgson. ''People are obviously ready for this opportunity.''

The new program is unique in that it will allow Asian manufacturers to offer their products to consumers all over the world at wholesale prices. It's also unique in that it will permit anyone on the Internet to open an on-line store and sell those goods from Asian warehouses.

Asia4Sale will offer on-line retail franchises free of charge, create virtual stores in minutes, and provide franchise-operators with products for sale. A generous commission scheme will apply.

Categories include arts and crafts, books, computer accessories, electronic gifts, fitness products, jewelry, kitchenware, magazines, sports equipment, travel gifts, toys and more.

The new on-line service is due to be launched shortly on Cable and Wireless HKT's Netvigator ( www.netvigator.com ) platform. Netvigator is the largest ISP in Hong Kong.
