Doug, The CHRX play turned out to be a solid long tee-off yesterday, which landed square in middle of the fairway. After the public offering sold out, it's up some 17 pct today, that's how I like to buy stocks...... SMTL is very solid but a bit of a "slow hand" though pricing is now quite attractive, should be priced ard $13.50 instead of 11 and change, I think lack of urgency or news is keeping volume low Your photomask ideas are interesting, I had followed DPMI at the time of the IPO but no liquidity then and missed the chance to buy real cheap and it fell away. My only question about MASK would be does it really have equivalent upside compared to the industry leader? (I had been very intrigued by Lam for example with Motley Fool saying last year that AMAT pooh poohed the idea of doing 300 mm equipment any time soon. AMAT now just announced first shipments in industry of such equipment and their share price as industry leader in any case has gained much more than LRCX which now will have a bad quarter. Having said that LRCX is still interesting and I have had some success recycling this one several times) On SMTL I'm still holding fire....
