hey wily,

usually one must 'subscribe' to the group, whatever that particular process entails. did you do that?

and usually you have to download a bunch of headers also. did you do that?

maybe one of these items holds the key. if not, suggest that you pose the same question to the group, including your email address for replies. btw, i've heard it said that you can get spammed like crazy if you do that, but it hasn't been my experience. plus there are steps one can take to get around spam, as you know.

wish i could be of more help, but i'm watching the open closely today.
