I managed to dig this up about SemcoLabs. It looks like this company might have quite a bit of potential. Some major dilution though, since they will be owning more of the merged company than the Datapower deal. I'm sitting on a nice profit right now, but I think I may stick around until the terms are disclosed. Maybe somebody wants to give the PR firm a call?

PR Newswire July 6, 1998
TransMedia Public Relations of Boca Raton said today it has been retained by SemcoLabs to publicize the company's on-site sanitary and bacteria monitoring systems for the food industry.

"TransMedia's track record is very impressive and we're confident that under the leadership of the firm's Chairman and CEO Mr. Thomas Madden, and President, Ms. Margie Adelman, SemcoLabs will be effectively represented to the media, the business community and the general public," said owners Brian Hill and Keith Svane.

"SemcoLabs' unique Gold Seal Certification is a sign of vigilance and safety on the part of the restaurant owner an indication that gives consumers peace of mind. It's the first scientifically comprehensive program for efficient and effective on-site sanitary and bacteria monitoring," said TransMedia's President Margie Adelman.

SemcoLabs is the only company in the nation to specialize in on-site sanitary and bacteria monitoring for the food service industry. The service consists of the monitoring of sanitation and bacteria levels for the control of food-borne illness and the establishment of sanitation protocols at specific control points. The system allows a food service facility to view and measure bacteria and sanitation levels in real numbers and computer print- outs.

TransMedia's client list includes Dennis Max's restaurants, Rexall Sundown, Imaging Diagnostic Systems, SISCO, Universal Heights, American Media Inc., Martek Biosciences Strang Cancer Prevention Center at Cornell University Medical Center, Noble Financial Group, Elcotel, Anti-Aging Associates, and City of Hope.
