Yes! That is absolutely true. Stocks that have had significant price appreciation over a short period of time are more susceptible to huge drops than a stock that has been basing for 2 years.

My point is that this is due to greed / fear factors in the traders of a particular security and NOT at all related to the current P/E or P/S.
