Customers include 3Com, Compaq, Ericsson, Lucent, Motorola, and Xerox. Almost 85% of its sales are within the US. Japanese joint venture partner Trans Cosmos owns 13% of Primus. Other investors include Oak Investment Partners and Norwest Equity Partners.
