Bill, Re EMC,

By the way are you still in EMC --they had a great qtr ---are you still as positive on them ?

Yes and absolutely, positively. I think storage is the fastest growing area associated with IT, the Internet or any other grouping you want to make. Sun, Compaq, HP, Dell, and even IBM are falling all over themselves trying to catch up to EMC in storage. IBM announcement Monday on a new shark or other watery predator. EMC might respond a little, go down briefly.

Re MSFT, I'm a new owner, have wanted a core position for a long time, might have bought in a little high. It may go down short term because of the company's talk, but I can't believe that Windows 2000 release and all the publicity that will go with it, and 64 bit next year with Intel, won't propel the stock even further. Linux is cool but it's a fly on a football. It may be a healthy competitive burr under the saddle and actually help long term, pushing MSFT to get more robust and better quality products out there.

I'm long term here, as with INTC, CSCO, EMC, the NFL and Silicon Valley.

Regards,

Tony
