Mary If I see an ipo that I like their concept and business model I just put in a limit order like xxx shares at 45 or better. Today I did that and got INSW at 37.00. Sometimes there is so much popularity on certain ipo's that they open in the sky and come back to earth later. At any rate put a price limit that you are comfortable with. If it opens lower you usually get it at that price. Good Luck charlie
