If that is right(and I would tend to agree) what do you think it says about our culture when graphic violence is soooo much more prevalent than intimate sexuality?

About every thirty seconds vs. never(well sometimes when my in-laws come over.....:-) ) I don't claim that viewing graphic violence necessarily leads to violence, or that watching two women kiss, will create a country of lesbians.(if that was what you were implying)

I just find it amazing that we, as a society, are so much more comfortable with violence than sex. I would rather have condoms accessible to my kids than I would handguns(a pale attempt to tie this conversation into the prior and more prevalent conversations on this thread) :-)
