For those with some time ...

Go here and grab a copy of their software to synchronize your computer clock with the atomic clock in Colorado. It's a tiny utility which is easy to use and install.

victech.hypermart.net

Once you have this working, you can have your system clock set with the click of a mouse.

What I like to do is right click the clock on my screen (lower right corner) and select Adjust Date/Time. It opens a window with a clock, which I move so I can see the web time synch at the same time. When I click to update my system clock, the second hand jumps to a new position. (I'm easy to amuse!)

Once my system clock is set, I set my watch. Then I run through the house setting the clocks. (Don't forget the clocks in the car too.) I now always know the exact time. I'm still always late, but now I know to the second by how much.

Gotta run -- I've a 1:00 appointment, PW.

P.S. This stuff needs Visual Basic 6.0 Runtime. It too can be downloaded for free.
