services rev can decrease if more partners are doing the implementations rather than bvsn resources.

not talking about support costs -- but maintenance/support contracts. bvsn could be letting that go thru 3rd parties and that would allow the balance to tip toward licenses more.

also, recognition of services revenue from ongoing implementations can be choppy -- say they started xx implementations 6-9 months ago, but only completed 1/2 of plan -- that would mean you can't recognize all the revenue yet.

IOW, there are ways to have had 50% more new customers and not a matching amount of new revenue.

Don't know if that's the case here, just something you should consider.
