Lorne:

Believe it or not there are still a few people around the world who don't even know the Great Canadaian Diamond Play is going on.

BTW I hasve to take issue with a post you made yesterday about colored stones. I was late home and didn't have the strength at the time. You appear to me IMHO to be still confused about colored stones. I hape you have written RTP.

The Australian, or should I say Argyle Pinks are still the most valuable stones ever found. As I said once before the record was held by a stone weighing only 0.96 cts which was sold for more than US$900,000 per carat in 1997 I believe.
The Pinks, of which only about 8 or 10 are found each year are not what is described as Champagnes, which is the new marketing name for what used to be called "Beer Bottle Browns" which come out of Argyle by the million.

If you want to PM me a mailing address I'll take the time and spare the $ to color copy the two articles you're interested in and mail them to you, so that you can read about it for yourself. Somebody's been pulling your leg, or at any rate feeding you rubber duckies.
