I just submitted a complaint in writing to them based on their covering a stock I shorted when my equity got too low, without any notice (of any kind). Those lazy jerks couldn't even pick up the phone and call, either before or after the trade. When I called, they said my agreement allows them to do so when they feel the account is "threatened." Hell, the brokers call me when I place an internet order to short and they don't have available stock. Why can't compliance call me when they are about to buy me in? I live only a few miles from their office, and I could have sent a check over. Up till now, they were pretty good, but this incident makes me reconsider.
