It was a simposium(spelling???) I had watched on PBS. It had to do with predictions of the end of the world based upon Biblical and other timelines. The only problem mentioned was that if it was according to the Bible's "timeline" as discussed we would all be dead already. During his talks the speaker noted that several timelines, including Nosty's, were most likely inaccurate due to the fact that there was no year 0. Ie the year that was supposed to be 0BC/0AD did not exist and rather than add it later we (in our infinite wisdom) simply continued counting from 1BC to 1AD. Cute ain't it? He ended the talk stating that while Biblical theologians summized the end of the world to happen in Sept(I think) of 1998 (which was 2 months away when he gave the lecture) it really was 10 months ago, so have no fear. He then refered to the fact that big N had predicted things in the future and that most likely they too were incorrect by at least one year if at all true.

And if you don't read anything into N's predictions you really REALLY don't get anything out. Take any prediction and don't read into it? what do you get? nothing. caput. nada.

on the otherhand he could have been telling the story of king aurthor for all we know (in retrospect I might add).
