I think it was somewhere on the Gold Eagle site where I read that Silver may become a likely replacement for Platinum in fuel cells. Silver is already being used in fuel cells for military applications. This may account for Warren Buffet's purchase of 20% of Silver supplies. Interestingly he also has interests in, and sits on the board of, a major manufacturer of batteries.
