(Nasdaq: JUNI) ("JUNIPER") issued the following press release.
News stories have recently circulated about a lawsuit brought by the SEC
against a company named Globus Group, Inc. In the news stories is an
allegation that Globus Group, Inc. was recommending the stock of Juniper
Group, Inc.
The Company had never heard of the Globus Group, Inc. before the recent
press stories regarding the SEC's actions against Globus for violations of the
securities laws. The Company did not know that Globus was recommending its
stock. No one from Juniper has ever met any officers or employees of Globus
and the Company never authorized Globus to act on its behalf.
Juniper Group, Inc. operates in the healthcare management area through two
subsidiaries of Juniper Medical Systems, Inc., which offers medical revenue
enhancement services to hospitals and cost containment to managed care health
