With the stock at it's current levels, many people may feel that they still have time before needing to clear it out for tax loss purposes and don't have enough equity in the stock to worry about the opportunity costs.

The group behind WRN is still trying to make something happen, so many continue to hope. There is also the possibility that something occurs with Taylor that either draws capital investment or in some way resurrects it as an asset of value.

There are a couple of possibilities for ventures, that are still alive, but both will likely require the rollback, followed by the financing, from what I can gather.

Please do not take this as a recommendation to buy or hold the stock, this was strictly an answer to the question asked "why, some may still hold?".
