Re Will this latest round of Y2K claims from the FAA turn out to be the real thing? John, See my posting at: Message 10633485 Completion of this Y2K test milestone is another key step consistent with successful deployment of the STARS system. The initial operational sites are scheduled for El Paso, Texas and Syracuse, N.Y. later this year. They haven't installed their Y2K compliant system at any site yet. Maybe the FAA doesn't consider system installation to be necessary in order to achieve 100% Y2K compliance! B.K.
