Well, it's been 24 hours and Stumpy has turned all his white front deep deerskin brown. MJ tells him she is not very happy. We were just outside under the tall rhodies on the side of the hill and the Stumpster came over and lay down, or tried to. He lost his balance down the hill, because his stomach tried to roll down there. He was flat parallel to the hill, and the downhill side tried to flip him over. He got mad and got up and meow-ed. Maybe that's why he prefers porch boxes. Yah, this 80th birthday monologue is like an ecology text. It's amazing.
