SUGGESTED GUIDELINES FOR POSTERS

I believe is is vital to encourage people on this list who post during market hours to post specific trades with specific reasons. I have been trying to do this for a while myself and now I am not following my own advice.

As an example, when I listed 3 stocks at midday that "caught my eye" that meant "these are possible traders-check them out." I later traded GTW and my post should have been. "TRADE-entered GTW 71 1/4 huge up move in percentage terms on excellent volume, with two analyst upgrades and a positive outlook going forward."

Of course, I did not post this because like many on this list I have another whole "life" and I was on the road taking my oldest daughter to camp.

My point is: post a specific stock, say where you get in and say (briefly) WHY you did it.

I am also adding a new suggestion which you can see in the above example--if you post a trade, place TRADE in all caps FIRST in the post, and post the STOCK SYMBOL soon thereafter. (This latter point about the stock symbol is vital because it will ensure that those scrolling past many messages will "stop" on your message if the stock symbol is one they are interested in. If you fail to post the symbol and only place TRADE they may be too busy to look into it).

THEN if people look back and you want to take credit it is much more reasonable to do so. If we all abide by this I believe it would help a lot and since I have stopped following my own advice I thought I would say it to the whole "group."
