It is my view that the price appreciation of yesteryear has and will forever cease to exist for Dell. Prior to the advent of internet business models, sustainable high growth was in the 40% annual revenue growth range with Dell at the top end of this with 50%+. Unfortunately, in the age of the internet business model, increased efficiency and scaleable is possible. And so, I believe that dell, with its 40% revenue growth, or even if it manages to achieve 50%+ growth again, will not be the shining star as it once was.

Now the new stars are the internet companies with 100%+ revenue growth sustainable, until proven otherwise, a la messr. AMZN.

My 2 cents,
tci
