part 2... (sorry again for the length) should they take the conservative route? this in my opinion would be to buy SMIS Surrey medical this would yield 2 products... food inspection IMG/MRI I would then set up manufacturing facilities and begin build and refining the costs down for these two products... Then go to trade shows with sales reps and market the daylights out of the products...don't hand it off at all... the more risky route... I would find a computer company that specializes in computers that are for highly technical applications... computers that require extremly fast processors for engineering applications or whatever... I would require them to pay royalties up front for exclusivity in using the product... then when the product comes out I would make sure that every press outfit in the entire country captures the news about the computer with the 1 gig processor or the 2 gig processor or whatever... then maybe it filters down to PC'S maybe not... the PR/hype route... announce a consortium that they are in to build Maglev... I would build a test track somewhere in upstate NewYork... and let press people get the story... Maglev is a little different kettle of fish and requires a lot more elements to get off the ground mostly because of funding/and permission to build... all for now.
