During the previous 3 weeks prior to the last week, the group sum was up 25 percent. This past week, however, it went down 11 percent for an overall 4 week gain of 9 percent. Like an old saying "The group couldn't stand prosperity". The SOX-X was down 9 percent for the week. Three stocks were up, 2 stayed the same and 35 were down. Some that went down, went down hard! Leading the downward movement was SFAM with a 42 percent loss (yes, I own some). Eighteen stocks were down 10 percent or more.
