Ballmer needs more respect for the power of his words - and MSFT's position as the 900-lb gorilla of the tech sector. His dire (modest) predictions about MSFT's future growth had as much effect on the market at large as Greenspan's offhand, habitual remarks about high valuations. Together they killed a great earnings week. Who are either of them to tell us how to price our holdings? Their mouthes cost the investor billions in market cap. I'm out of my MSFT position until Ballmer clams up.
