I am amazed at the "H&Q" report comments on this thread. I assume this is an example of their overall thinking, so I won't bother to read all of it. Every comment by them I saw was wrong, IMO.
All of the comment on Ericy and the rest of the European crowd led me to reflect on the huge advantage that Q now has because the main competition is European.
We have so much "All cultures are Equal" crap taught in this country that a lot of people believe that European companies can consistently compete on a level basis with a top American company like Q. They can't. Why not?
It is not their overpaid, underworked, employees.
It is not their Governments run by Socialists.
It is the European culture that has produced the self-satisfied, arrogant, management groups that run these European companies. (To those of you, who understand the reference, these people are a bunch of "Orrin Boyles")
These people will have their hat consistently handed to them by top American companies.
If we were up against a group of Asian companies, we would have some worries, but not against these clowns! The only way they can win is by using their governments for special favors, and that only slows CDMA down.
We had a nice "Roller Coaster" this week, didn't we? People who have not been "through the rain" before were squealing. After the Cisco drop last year, this was nothing, and we are going to continue to have these types of price swings. Look at the history of any major Gorilla that has grown in the last 10 years, and you will see the same pattern. |
