MB, <Sales down 9% from 1st quarter, gross profit off 9.4%, operating income down 9.1%, net income off 10.3%> ....and of course everyone who follows the industry is well aware that GTW's Q2 has always been sequentially down from Q1. In fact, this has been the case in 5 of the 6 years since GTW went public. The only difference this year is that the Q1 to Q2 decline is much smaller than normal. So what's your point? Oh yes....I know...another disastrous quarter by a US box maker who was suppose to be out of business 2 1/2 years ago due to the invasion of the Japanese box makers....LOL. I distinctly remember you telling me that GTW just had their last good quarter in Q4 of 1996. Of course they have somehow (I'm sure purely with accounting gimmicks <gg>) managed to grow EPS at a CAGR of around 20% since then <VBG>. BTW, I have no position in GTW but they just reported an outstanding record Q2. FF
