Secondly, I think EVERYONE is missing the point of what happened. There were no bribes to the FDA panel, I'm sure.

It is, imho, naive to think that science alone would carry the day. The panel members were IMO, covering their butts or possibly sending a message they will not allow the CLINICAL INVESTIGATOR'S to own such huge amounts of stock, legal or not. From what I have heard, they were looking for any excuse not to pass. Also, it is much more politically expedient to vote as a block without any dissent (when seven shooters execute someone, and theres only one bullet, no one gets blamed for the kill).
