Dave, Honestly speaking, I agree with Techie on the standard argument.
Standard can only have one, otherwise, there is no standard. Amati's
DMT approach already been chosen as standard is not likely to be changed.
Only when the old standard has major flaws or no longer fit for the indu-
stry. I don't see any chance for BA or NYLEX to convince the committees.

I also agree with Wyane on the Patent issue. I myself own several patents
and had been involved in patent litigation. IMHO, A "modified patent"
can only "get away" with the original patent has to be "major" improvement
in term of "functions" and "applications". I know that still some gray areas
However, the "improvement patent" always end up paying royalty. I,m not
lawyer, I just heard from patent attorney talking about the terminologies

Thx for your stocks at $28. I increase my Amati today. Let's see the
price at the end of June. You will find out how hard to get even 1 share
from me. Just can not believe people paying 5 times as much for WSTL, 3.3
time as much for PAIR and 5 times for ADTN. Giving the same risk factor,
do they know math at all?
