John,

No complaints with the strategy. I've been known to apply it successfully on occasion myself with some stocks in this sector.

If the Street wants to give away almost free money, I'm willing to oblige them.

Your comments bearish or not, have always been informed. Those couldn't possibly mess up my evening.

Hope I did not mess up your evening.

I think we have different views of how soon MTSN will / should return to profitability. I believe that if MTSN chose to put 10¢ to the bottom line this past quarter, they could have. And we wouldn't have seen the investment in new plant to make the new tools; we wouldn't have seen plant staff ramped up; we wouldn't have seen continuing R&D efforts into the Epi and RTP products; and we wouldn't have seen the inventory ramped up as they start building more tools to be shipped to more customers.

I accept that there's a need for balance. But I think the choice that we're currently discussing is whether MTSN becomes a significant player in this sector or a niche company doomed to waste away as its single product withers and dies.

Personally, I'm quite pleased with the foresight and judgment shown by Brad. ... especially now that the results are proving his judgment to be impeccable. Profits will come, right now the business is being put on a solid, growing foundation.

IMO,
Ian.
