I think there is generally a formula for averaging out the stock price. There may nonetheless be some small advantage to the acquired companies to getting the MESG stock down a bit if it will offer them bigger potential gains down the road...who knows the exact details, I sure don't. We are talking pretty major transactions, totalling $100 mil or so for a company valued at less than a billion.

Big institutions may be asking for a window to accumulate in exchange for good coverage later, all informally of course, nothing overt would be said but people understand the game pretty well I would imagine.

The primary way for companies to legally manipulate their stock price is to turn the volume on HIGH with information being fed out in a steady stream and then crank it off COMPLETELY to spook people and to get buying volume to level off. I would agree that something like that may be going on.

We all know what kind of company this is (a huge story in the making, with existing affirmations from all those great customers). So the switch should be turned on again presently.
