James without going on a point to point explanation I basically agree with most of your statements. However, I was stating what I heard Greenspan say about not cutting taxes NOW. So maybe you should tell him that a tax cut even if enacted NOW will not go into effect until after 2000. I think all of them use a mired array of explanative's to sway their own interest which is what I intended to illustrate in my original point of (Greenspan) raising interest rates no matter what.
