You guess is as good as mine. Another company tried buying COC from DuPont prior to the IPO. It didn't fly for some reason. I think it was related to taxes. DuPont wanted a tax free transaction. I think COC is a good company based on DD I did some time back. I trade the stock infrequently. Right now my target entry price is $20 to $21.

If you are looking for a long term hold, I think it is a good one. Not much down side and good potential upside with recovery of oil prices. Recovery in oil prices depends on Asian Economic recovery IMHO.

I don't know what the DuPont spin off deal is. COC at $25 or less is a good deal IMHO.
